Our Services

Gutters play a crucial role in managing rainwater runoff and protecting your home from water damage, erosion, and other related issues. We offer gutter installation, replacement, repair, and cleaning to help keep your home safe from water damage.

Gutter Installation & Replacement

Gutter installation or replacement is needed when gutters are visibly damaged, sagging, or frequently clogged despite regular cleaning. Signs such as water damage around the foundation, walls, or roofline, peeling paint, rust stains, or basement flooding indicate faulty gutters. Aging gutters, typically over 20-30 years old, or home renovations also warrant new gutters to ensure effective water drainage and home protection.

We offer 5, 6 and 7" K style gutters in .027 gauge (standard residential thickness) or .032 gauge (Commercial grade) Aluminum gutter and 26 gauge galvalume material option. We are not currently installing copper gutters.

5" gutters

5" gutter is most builders' standard. This may be used in areas with small fascia and/or in areas that need only minimal water management, such as small porch additions. However, in most situations we recommend 6" gutters to better handle the trees and rainfall we experience here in North Georgia.

6" Gutters

6" gutters can carry almost twice the water volume as 5", and is our standard recommendation to most home owners in our area regardless of roof size. In certain ideal circumstances, 5" may be sufficient, but 6" gutters are much better equipped to deal with the amount of trees and storms we have here in North Georgia.

7" gutters

Our 7" gutter are commercial grade .032 gauge aluminum, and are mostly installed on commercial properties. We do occasionally install in very high water volume areas on residential properties or at homeowner's request.

Downspout Sizes

Whether 5 inch or 6 inch gutters, a 3x4 inch or 4 inch round downspout is a must-have for proper water management. 3x4 inch, 4 inch round, or 4x5 inch downspouts can all be good options for 7" depending on the specific situation. 4x5" is commercial grade and unnecessary for most residential properties.

What Makes Us Different

We form seamless gutters on site

Our box trucks carry gutter machines that form the "K" style (residential profile gutter) from aluminum coils we purchase from established suppliers.

We run out each length on site with no middle seams and custom cut them to precisely connect at each corner with a custom miter. (Obstacles and terrain may limit our ability to install very long lengths in one piece)

To custom cut a miter we use miter pattern templates to mark and cut gutter ends at a certain profile which allows us to join them together with special inner tabs that are screwed or riveted to the connecting piece

We use the best sealant and hidden hangers available.

Hangers we use are a rigid aluminum bracket with a mounted 3" screw together in 1 unit. It has clips that connect to the front and rear of the gutter to hold it in place for correct mounting. Inferior hangers may not have clips on the gutter facing side which could allow it to drop during installation. This could result in different spacing between the front and rear of gutter lengths that gives it a "wavy" look. If the hanger drops far enough it could also result in water intrusion which could lead to rotting of the surface to which it is mounted. These types of hangers are often installed with a shorter 1 and 1/2 inch screw that comes separate and is not mounted directly on the hanger.

Gutter Cleaning

Cleaning your gutters is essential to prevent water damage to your home's foundation, walls, and roof by ensuring proper water flow. It also helps avoid pest infestations, protects your landscaping from erosion, and prevents roof damage caused by standing water. Regular gutter maintenance keeps them from becoming too heavy and breaking, increases their longevity by preventing rust and corrosion, and ultimately saves you from costly repairs. We use blowers during our clean out process and hand clean areas as needed. We clear downspout clogs from top to bottom (does not include underground drains). We blow debris to wooded areas when possible and pick up debris as needed.

Tell-tale signs that gutters need cleaning:

Any obvious build up of debris

Discoloration on fascia under gutter

Debris and/or water between fascia and gutter

Limited water from bottom of downspout

Clear erosion issues directly below gutter

Cascading water over the top of any gutter section

Our Testimonials

We are in the process of selling our house and picked K&K to clean the gutters. They were able to schedule it quickly since we are on a time limit. They came out and did a fantastic job and left no mess. Price was exactly what they quoted and very reasonable. Prompt reply to all my questions and messages. Will certainly use them again on the next house. Feels great to use a local company.
Billie J. - Yelp
It was a pleasure to work with Kevin. He quickly quoted a fair price. His clean out guy was efficient, friendly and professional. I highly recommend K&K Gutters.
Lori P. - Yelp
Windstorm blew off some of our gutter screens. Unfortunately, it was during the busy spring season for gutter cleaning. I called two other companies I had used previously first. Both were poorly responsive. So, I tried some new companies including this one. K&K were the most responsive. Had work completed within a week. Price seemed reasonable for the work. I would use again.

Gutter Guards

Gutter guards can offer several benefits that make them a worthwhile investment for homeowners. They significantly reduce the amount of debris, such as leaves and twigs, that can clog gutters, ensuring proper water flow and reducing the need for frequent cleaning. By preventing clogs, gutter guards help avoid water damage to your home's foundation, walls, and roof, and protect your landscaping from erosion. They also discourage pest infestations by eliminating the stagnant water that attracts insects and rodents. Additionally, gutter guards can extend the lifespan of your gutters by preventing rust and corrosion caused by trapped moisture. Overall, they save time, effort, and money on maintenance and repairs, keeping your home in better condition.
